Support Humanitarian Relief For Gaza – Upcoming Second Collection

Archbishop Broglio, President of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), has asked all bishops in the United States to respond to the urgent humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Recognizing the terrible suffering of Christians and other innocent victims, dioceses across the country are taking up special collections to provide humanitarian relief and pastoral support to those affected in Gaza and surrounding areas.

In response, Bishop Beckman requests that all parishes take up a second collection on the weekend of August 30 & 31.

OLOF will be collecting this second collection on September 6 & 7.

The funds collected will support the Catholic Near East Welfare Association (CNEWA), which is providing critical emergency relief, medical care, and psychological support for the sick, malnourished, and wounded. Additionally, Catholic Relief Services (CRS) is working through local Church partners to provide food, shelter, cash assistance, hygiene supplies, and ongoing care to those in need.

Your generous support will help bring immediate relief and hope to families enduring unimaginable hardship.
