Our Lady of Fatima Parish Joyfully Welcomes Priest Assignments from Bishop Mark Beckman


Alcoa, TN
 — Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church rejoices in the announcement from Bishop Mark Beckman regarding the 2025 priest assignments for the Diocese of Knoxville. With hearts full of gratitude and excitement, we share the wonderful news that Fr. Peter Iorio will remain as Pastor of Our Lady of Fatima Parish. We are thrilled and blessed by his continued leadership, presence, and pastoral care in our community.


We are also grateful that Fr. Joseph Austin will continue to serve as our Parochial Vicar, enriching our parish with his ministry and support.

In even more joyful news, we are delighted to share that soon-to-be-ordained Fr. Renzo Alvarado has been assigned to Our Lady of Fatima following his upcoming ordination. We look forward to welcoming Fr. Renzo with open hearts and praying for him as he prepares for this sacred vocation.


Additionally, we are honored to announce that Fr. Peter Iorio has been appointed as Vicar General and Moderator of the Curia for the Diocese of Knoxville. This important diocesan leadership role is a recognition of Fr. Pete’s wisdom, experience, and deep dedication to the Church. We are proud and blessed to support him in this new responsibility and ask our community to keep him in prayer as he begins this new chapter of service.

La Parroquia de Nuestra Señora de Fátima Recibe con Alegría los Nuevos Nombramientos Sacerdotales del Obispo Mark Beckman

 — La Parroquia Católica de Nuestra Señora de Fátima se llena de alegría al recibir el anuncio del Obispo Mark Beckman sobre los nombramientos sacerdotales para el año 2025 en la Diócesis de Knoxville. Con corazones llenos de gratitud y entusiasmo, compartimos la maravillosa noticia de que el P. Peter Iorio continuará como Párroco de la Parroquia Nuestra Señora de Fátima. Estamos emocionados y bendecidos por su liderazgo constante, su presencia, y su cuidado pastoral en nuestra comunidad.


También estamos agradecidos de que el P. Joseph Austin continuará sirviendo como nuestro Vicario Parroquial, enriqueciendo nuestra parroquia con su ministerio y apoyo. Con aún más gozo, nos complace compartir que el próximamente ordenado P. Renzo Alvarado ha sido asignado a Nuestra Señora de Fátima tras su próxima ordenación. Esperamos darle una cálida bienvenida con corazones abiertos y orar por él mientras se prepara para esta sagrada vocación.
