OLOF is offering a Lenten study called An American Lent led by Fr. Pete & Tony & Caprice Richardson.
The message for Lent this year from Pope Francis is "Through the Desert God Leads us to Freedom". This is an appropriate theme to engage as we look at slavery and it’s consequences in our own country.
An American Lent is a daily Lenten journey through America’s history of slavery, segregation, and racism.
This study will consist of daily reflections available on the website below and a weekly in-person gathering in the rectory. Gatherings will be each Monday from 6-7:15 PM, February 19 - March 18, 2024. Food will be provided.
